In line with the preparations for the Iranian Conference on Biomedical Engineering (ICBME 2026), hosted by the Department of Materials Engineering at Isfahan University of Technology (IUT), a coordination meeting was held with the university’s Student Affairs Office. The session was attended by Dr. Eshghizadeh (Vice-Chancellor for Student Affairs) and Dr. Babaei-Khorzoughi (the Executive Chair of the conference). During this meeting, participants emphasized maximizing synergy to provide optimal welfare services and ensure an excellent hosting experience for all conference attendees.
According to the Conference Public Relations Office, the meeting was held to ensure detailed planning for the provision of welfare infrastructure and to facilitate the participation of invited guests and researchers in the Biomedical Engineering Conference.
During the meeting, Dr. Eshghizadeh, Vice-Chancellor for Student Affairs at the university, welcomed the hosting of this scientific event by the Department of Materials Engineering and announced the full readiness of his office and its affiliated units to support the successful organization of the conference. Stressing the importance of proper hospitality for guests, he underscored the need to prioritize coordination in the areas of catering, welfare services, and participant accommodation.
Dr. Babaei-Khorzoughi, Executive Chair of the conference, also expressed his appreciation for the supportive and collaborative approach of the Student Affairs Office, noting that such cooperation would provide a strong foundation for enhancing the conference’s executive arrangements and improving the overall experience of its participants.
At the end of the meeting, it was decided that the executive details of each welfare-related area would be finalized by representatives of both parties, and that operational planning for the delivery of the services envisaged in the conference executive schedule would be followed up on continuously.
