Consultative Meeting with the University’s Student Affairs Office to Ensure High-Quality Hosting of the Iranian Conference on Biomedical Engineering (ICBME)

In line with the preparations for the Iranian Conference on Biomedical Engineering (ICBME 2026), hosted by the Department of Materials Engineering at Isfahan University of Technology (IUT), a coordination meeting was held with the university’s Student Affairs Office. The session was attended by Dr. Eshghizadeh (Vice-Chancellor for Student Affairs) and Dr. Babaei-Khorzoughi (the Executive Chair of the conference). During this meeting, participants emphasized maximizing synergy to provide optimal welfare services and ensure an excellent hosting experience for all conference attendees.

Scientific and Executive Planning Underway for ICBME 2026

Following previous expert-level sessions and as one of the first strategic steps in 1405 (May 2026), the coordination and optimization meeting for the executive and scientific processes of the 33rd National and 11th International Iranian Conference on Biomedical Engineering (ICBME) was held on Sunday, May 10, 2026. The hybrid (in-person and virtual) meeting took place at the Department of Materials Engineering, Isfahan University of Technology (IUT), with the participation of the Dean of the Department, the Conference Chair, Scientific and Executive Chairs, executive committee members, and the financial officer. Aimed at integrating past efforts and fostering structured synergy among organizing bodies, the session discussed operational solutions for optimizing the attraction of financial and academic sponsors, accelerating and clarifying the permitting process, and developing inter-institutional, inter-university, and industrial collaborations, leading to highly constructive resolutions.
