As part of the ongoing series of weekly monitoring meetings on executive plans, a specialized session of the Organizing Committee for the Iranian Conference on Biomedical Engineering was held at Isfahan University of Technology (IUT). The meeting was attended by members of the Executive Committee, with the Executive Chair and the Conference Chair joining online. In addition to reviewing the progress status of the action plans, participants discussed and exchanged views on practical measures to accelerate the attraction of financial sponsors and to optimize participation and partnership models for the event.
In this session, Dr. Babaei-Khorzoughi (Executive Chair of the conference) and the Conference Director, who attended the meeting online, emphasized the importance of precise scheduling and maintaining momentum in the committees’ activities, and reviewed the performance report for the current week. The members present also analyzed the list of potential sponsors and available collaboration capacities, underscoring the need to prioritize negotiations with industry partners and academic/scientific institutions.
Another key agenda item was the review of the conference’s sponsorship packages, aiming to increase their attractiveness for knowledge-based companies, research centers, and industrial organizations, and thereby facilitate maximum participation.
These meetings, hosted on a continuous weekly basis at Isfahan University of Technology (IUT), help ensure the meticulous advancement of conference plans in line with the executive schedule. At the conclusion of the session, the Executive Committee reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining coordinated follow-ups until desirable outcomes are achieved across all operational areas of the symposium.
