We are honored to announce that Professor Greg Slabaugh, Director of the Digital Environment Research Institute (DERI) and Professor of Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence at Queen Mary University of London, will join ICBME 2026 as a keynote speaker.
Professor Slabaugh is an internationally recognized researcher in the fields of medical AI, medical image analysis, multimodal learning, and digital twins. His academic and industrial background includes leading roles at Huawei, Siemens, and Medicsight, as well as the publication of over 350 scientific papers. The title of his keynote speech is “Multimodal AI and Digital Twins for Healthcare.” In this lecture, Professor Slabaugh will discuss how multimodal AI can integrate medical images, clinical information, and other healthcare data. He will also explore the role of digital twins in supporting more accurate patient modeling, facilitating clinical decision-making, and advancing personalized medicine.
