Professor Yunlong Yu as a Keynote Speaker at ICBME 2026
Professor Yunlong Yu, from the Institute of Burn Research at Third Military Medical University (China), will join ICBME 2026 as a keynote speaker to present on Metabolic reprogramming and wound healing.
We are honored to announce that Professor Yunlong Yu from the Burn Research Center at the Third Military Medical University, China, will be a keynote speaker at ICBME 2026.
Professor Yu holds a PhD from the University of Twente (the Netherlands) and is a leading researcher in the development of natural biomaterials for wound healing and tissue regeneration. His research, focusing on the application of natural polyphenols to improve homeostasis, control inflammation, and provide antimicrobial properties, has significantly impacted the clinical treatment of resistant wounds. With over 60 SCI publications and 6 patents, he is a distinguished scientist in this field. The title of his keynote speech is “Metabolic reprogramming and wound healing.” This lecture will explore the molecular mechanisms and signaling pathways involved in wound repair, offering a new perspective on biomaterial-based therapies.
We invite researchers, specialists, engineers, and students interested in tissue engineering, biomaterials, and wound healing to join us for this valuable lecture at ICBME 2026.
